In 2020, a very talented undergraduate, Lois Mason, joined our group for her final year research project. Covid vaccines were being developed, and we wanted to support conversations around the vaccines, exploring the information available, and enabling people to make confident, informed decisions.
A fantastic team of volunteer translators provided subtitles in multiple languages, to improve the accessibility of our videos. We have subtitles in Arabic, Cantonese, French, Greek, Japanese, Mandarin, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, Thai and Urdu. Just click the "subtitles" button in YouTube.

Lois designed and animated several short videos, explaining how vaccines work, and discussing answers to some common questions about the Covid vaccines. Her second and subsequent videos were funded by a British Society for Immunology "Communicating Immunology" grant. Click on the links here to watch the videos.
